Studio Policies
- Weekly lessons are 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes in length. All parents/guardians are welcome at any time to observe.
- Tuition is charged as a monthly flat rate and includes 37 lessons over the course of the school year, taking into account all studio closures. Please see the studio calendar for more details.
- School Year Closures:
Lessons will not be held on the following days:- Labor Day
- Tuesday-Friday of Thanksgiving Week (November 26-29)
- Winter Break(December 23 – January 3)
- Spring Break (March 17-21)
- Missed Lessons:
- Because specific times are set aside for each student, a student who does not attend a lesson will miss the benefit of that lesson. Make up lessons are not guaranteed, though in certain circumstances, the teacher may inform the student of an alternate available time. Make up lessons are done at the teacher’s discretion. Refunds or credits will not be given for missed lessons.
- Any lessons missed by the teacher will be made up by the end of the semester.
- Teacher Expectations:
- To provide a safe and caring atmosphere where students can learn in a way that best suits them.
- To provide students the tools they need to play independently.
- Student Expectations:
- To come promptly to each lesson with their assigned materials.
- To work on their skill at home, in-between lessons.
- To ask questions and to make sure that he or she understands their assignments each week.
- Parent Expectations:
- To provide assistance at home during the week.
- To work with the teacher in creating the best education for their child
